Trapping Rodents in Factories or Homes
If you find signs of rodents, first check inside and outside the factory or house to see if there are any holes, understand how they entered, and learn how to seal these holes to prevent new rodent infestations.
Set traps in the corners and edges of walls in attics, warehouses, and factories to catch them. If no new signs of rats appear or no rats are caught after a week, it means the rats are gone.
Choosing and Setting Traps
One or more suitable mouse traps can make your deployment more efficient.
There are many types of mouse traps, mouse cages, mouse trap boxes, mouse poisons, and more. Choosing one or more mouse traps can effectively help you eliminate or drive away mice.
You need to be careful! Always keep your mouse bait station or trap out of the reach of children and pets. It’s recommended to use traditional mice traps first, and only use poison bait or trap stations if traditional mouse traps are ineffective.
You can also use live traps such as sticky traps, but you’ll need to clean them regularly to prevent contamination from mouse droppings and hair.
Choose the right trap for the rodents in your home; there are different types of mouse traps and mole traps for mice and moles.
Set the trap

Before setting the trap, carefully read the instructions on the box and place a small amount of bait (peanut butter works best) in the mouse trap or mouse bait station. Place the trap near the edge of the floor, in an area where mice frequently move (you can check for signs of mouse activity), or against a wall. Place the opening, or the baited end, close to the wall, as mice tend to stick close to walls.
Place traps near mouse nesting material, urine, feces, gnawing areas, or bite marks.
Place traps in enclosed areas, such as corners of factory equipment, stoves in homes, behind refrigerators, and in the backs of cabinets.
Place traps near other areas of your home where you think rodents might enter, such as attics, basements, garages, or areas where there is evidence of mouse activity.
You need to check traps regularly and deal with mice immediately, as their feces or urine can carry disease. Rodents, especially mice, are very cautious and may wait several days before approaching a trap. Bait the trap beforehand until the mice stop moving.
Check your bait weekly. Refill or relocate your bait as needed for at least two weeks. You can also consider using a bait station or ask our experts for help. Our experts will respond to you promptly and help you make the best choice.
